Workshop session

It's more creative than scientific!

An interactive workshop that will explore the creative possibilities of blended delivery and e learning. Bring along an open mind and be prepared to explore a range of possible new ways to deliver learning to your community.

Some background

Leanne FitzGerald has been the Team Leader at Coonara Community House, in Upper Ferntree Gully, for 15 years. Coonara is a medium sized ACE organisation which delivers approximately 70,000 student contact hours per year (22,000 ACFE funded). Her interest in the use of technology as a tool to deliver flexibility in adult education commenced in 2003. In 2004 Coonara received a TAFE Frontiers flexible learning week grant which enabled the House to commence building staff and organisational capacity. In 2005 Leanne led a team of five Coonara tutors in a partnership project with other ACE providers to explore the use of podcasting in VET using a New Learning Practices grant. In addition, these same five tutors participated in a Learnscope project to increase their general knowledge of e-learning strategies for use in the classroom.
